Asuka - I am SO very happy that your vehicle purchase is getting closer and you can get back to your vaccination work. I’m sending in an additional donation for the vehicle.
You will have to post a photo of the vehicle once you get it!!

Dana, how very generous you are, it is from the heart. Asuka, I too want to see you in your new vehicle. I remember reading your last post right before Christmas break. You were full of hope. Then the elections occured and everything changed in an instant. Life is fragile and constantly changing. I can only afford a small donation today but it is no reflection of my admiration of your work. P.S. I hope your kitty cats and dog(s?) are doing ok!

Thank you, Dana and Theresa!
I am planning to get back to vaccination in March so hoping that vehicle will be ready by then. It has been a depressing months following the election violence, but things are slowly returning to norm. Now, we only hope for tourists to return to Mara so reserve management can continue their work protecting our wildlife.
My dogs and cats are absolutely fine and happy as ever. In fact, they are all sleeping around me now
They know nothing of Kenya’s problem, they are just happy to have me back at home!

Good for you Auka! I really missed your interesting posts over the holiday break. Amazing how much dogs and cats like their naps…but then so do we! Thanks for all you do.
